Knitted Toy Love

 

I'm learning something new at the moment! I'm knitting little animals! I always wanted to learn that, but wasn't sure if I could do it. A few weeks ago, I had a day off, kid and husband free, so I sat down and tried! I have started with Susan's wonderful 'CORNISH Mice' pattern and had so much fun, that I can't stop making them! :) I love to knit all those cute clothes and shoes and dress them up.

 

 

 

For Mothers Day, I treated myself with the newest pattern from Julie from Little Cotton Rabbits. My bunny girl is not as perfect as Julies original, but I love her a lot.  I guess, you will see a lot more animals here in the future.

 

 

 

In my last post I have shown you my little flowers! And this is what I'm going to do with them! I have started a new baby-blanket using my Little Flower Square pattern! I will show you more of it in my next post.

Before I go, I have to show you my front view! This is what I see while I'm brushing my teeth at  the moment! I can't get enough of all that yellowness everywhere and this wonderful smell around the house.

Sea-Blanket

Hello my friends!!

 

Finally, I have finished my ripple baby blanket!! It reminds me on our holidays at the sea last year and makes me smile, every time I see it. I can´t wait for the summer to be  there again.

At the moment I enjoy making lots of flowers for my next project. Ooh, I love to make flowers, I guess I made a lot more than I need. I will show you more of it soon!

Little Granny Cushion

Hello everybody!
My little crochet cushion is finished!!! Oh, I had a lot of fun making those cute little grannies, all 64 of them!

My plan was to use every colour combination only one time but-- uh-- didn´t work! Although I made a plan and did a lot of calculations, don´t ask me why this happened! Are you able to see all the doubles?

I kept the back very simple, just a big granny square, and added a little Mai-Rose at the corner

 

 

 

 

 

Finally spring has reached us too. All the snow melted away and it is getting warmer day by day . It is so nice to go outside now and see all the animals and little flowers everywhere. We are having a lot of frogs here at the moment and you have to be very careful not to step on one of them.

Happy Easter Everybody!!!!

Our little house is ready for Easter now! I did some sewing, crocheting and knitting for Easter during the past weeks and tried my best to get the Spring into our home. It is still very cold outside and I don´t think this will change soon. I hope the weather is much better in your part of the world!

Valentines Day Crochet

I have started to decorate our house with lots of hearts for Valentines Day next week! My birthday will be on Tuesday, so it´s nice to be surrounded by hearts everywhere on my special day! :)

A cushion in progress

After quite a long time I´m having a new colourful crochet project! 

Last year I`ve  made a wonderful swap with Deborah from Simply Miss Luella. She  made this amazing wall hanging for me. It is so beautiful and fits so well into our living room! It always makes me happy, when I see it. So, my idea was, to make one or two crochet cushions for our sofa using the same colours as Deborah used for the wall hanging.

 

 

 

 

It is the first time I´m using pure wool for crochet and it is so wonderful to work with those soft little balls.

 

 

 

 

How is your weather at the moment? We had so much snow last week, that we couldn´t go anywhere even there was no school for a day. But now it is raining and everything is melting away. Soo sad!

Belated New Year wishes!!!

I wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year! Thank you so much for visiting me here during the past year and leaving me all these wonderful words. You are amazing!!!

I hope you had wonderful holidays together with your loved ones! We just came home from a long trip to our family, where we had a great time with lots of good food and lovely presents. Today, I have to sort out the chaos here a bit! I´m looking forward to Monday when school starts again and I will have more time to crochet.
Were you lucky to have a white Christmas? After 6 weeks of heavy snowfall here, there was not a single snowflake left on Christmas Eve! :(
